Open Events October 2026

We are delighted to invite prospective students, parents and carers to our annual Open Week to experience why we are rated the second highest performing secondary school in Herefordshire.  

Open Mornings: Monday 12 - Thursday 15 October 

Our morning sessions will run from 9am to 12pm giving prospective parents, carers and students the opportunity to see the school in action. No appointments are necessary.

Open Evening: Thursday 15 October, 6.30pm to 9pm

There will be talks from the Headteacher at 6.30pm and again at 7.15pm. (A further talk at 8pm will be offered if required.)

Following the presentations, visitors will be able to tour the school and:

• Meet our Specialist Teaching Team;
• Meet our Senior Leadership Team
• Learn about our curriculum;
• Explore our clubs and activities;
• Enjoy tasty samples from our in-house caterers;
• Experience the life that Whitecross has to offer.
