Our people are our most important asset and we are a school where positive relationships and strong values matter. Our school is a calm, safe and purposeful place where students excel and standards are high. Ofsted reported in December 2009 that 'the care, support and guidance of students are outstanding'. Our students tell us they value the way they are treated with respect, the way they are actively involved in the life of the school and the commitment that everyone shows.
Our results are at an all-time high. In 2009, 77% of students achieved five or more A* to C grades at GCSE level. 46% of students achieved five or more A* to C grades including English and Maths. These fantastic results represent real achievement for our students
