Praise Launch at Whitecross - 28 January 2010 A new competition has been launched at Whitecross to promote the giving of praise and to recognise excellence. We all know that being told we are doing a good job makes us feel better. At Whitecross, students doing the right thing are awarded praise in the form of stamps on a praise card or postcards which are posted home. We have now launched a new competition on praise. Form groups have been divided into two teams and each team competes against all the other teams in all the other form groups to gain as much praise as possible. Each team has a manager who has been trained to lead their team and help the team members do as well as they can. Each half term, the team with the most praise will be rewarded with a VIP day in school. They can wear home clothes, play computer games at lunchtime and be treated to a special lunch served by senior members of staff. With 64 teams raring to go, competition will be fierce. We wish every team the best of luck! |
